Give Your Dog a Luxury Vacation

Updated: Apr 13, 2018

Want to treat you pup to an amazing getaway? It’s time to book a luxury hotel, perfect for all of your dog’s needs. Read below for some our favorite and highly rated dog hotels:

The Pooch Hotel chain located in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Texas wants to bring five-star hotel deluxe to dogs in replace of a dog boarding facility. The hotel has their own extensive amenities list. They have a doggie pool, with of a course a lifeguard on duty so you know your dog is safe at all times (Lotz). In addition, there is a doggy spa, specializing in aromatherapy bathing and massage. They also include “paw-dicures”, Poochberry facials, tooth brushing and a fitness center including treadmill and nutrition management (Lotz). To top it off, there are indoor play areas with real grass and hotel suites that are custom made room with glass doors for monitoring. To keep the dog owners at ease, the hotel provides 24-hour webcam access which is exclusive to “parents” of “guests” staying in the luxury suites of Presidential and Palace and for play areas (Lotz). This hotel can be viewed as over the top for many people, but it is what we would want for ourselves as humans. This is not “spoiling” your dog, but rather giving them the ultimate vacation experience that you would except for yourself or a loved one.

Another luxurious hotel for dog guests is the K-9 Resorts Daycare and Luxury Hotel located in Fanwood, New Jersey. Their amenities list includes the following: sound resistant room, plasma TVs for each “suite”, outdoor-view windows, specifically to accommodate dogs to see, “luxury” dog bedding, Evian Spring Water, doggie Ice cream, Gucci dog bed – only for upgrades, ad gourmet dinners. While this hotel is a little more frivolous and may in part be for the entertainment of the owners, it still remains open even for its expensive costs, clearly indicating the extent to which dog owners go for their loved best friends. The splurge for luxury just comes out of the fear of not putting their beloved dogs in the best care possible. "Parents" want the best for their "babies", and that means to have the ability to check up on them at all times and having the best staff check up on them when they can't. To the right, the images are all of the K-9 Resort from their website www.k9resorts.com.

Both of these hotels would be the perfect place to send your furry pal when they can’t be with you. If you are a loving dog owner, you wouldn't hesitate to splurge, because for family you would pay top price for the best quality.
